Brief description of the position

We are looking for a General Manager with astrong drive and execution ability to lead and further develop Uvdal Maskinfabrikk.

As a General Manager, you are responsible for the overall business, finances/results, personnel, production and sales/marketing. The position reports to the board.

• Daily management with a clear focus on leading, motivating and further developing your colleagues
• Develop and follow up the company’s strategy together with the management team and the board
• Focus on production and production processes; organization – lean – automation/digitalisation
• Engage in sales and marketing work
• Financial management, budget and reporting
• Overall personnel responsibility

Qualifications

• Technical education, engineer/civil engineer or equivalent technical level, preferably with professional certificate
• Solid experience from production and production management
• Good knowledge of lean, automation/digitalisation and work organisation
• Experienced in strategy and business development
• Managerial experience
