Focus on quality
Uvdal Maskinfabrikk offers production of mechanical parts, assembled products and precision components in advanced materials. Our production facilities consist of the highest quality precision machines.
For more than 40 years, we have evolved to become a solid and reliable supplier, offering complex mechanical production of high quality products. We possess solid technical expertise and engineering capacity for prototype production and total projects.

CNC machining
Our machining department consists of skilled workers, who handle the best quality precision machines. We have CNC machining centre and lathes with up to 6 controlled axes.
3D models from engineering are used directly into the GibbsCam programming tool and all manufactured parts are serialised if the customer requires this. We perform everything from CNC turning and milling, pipe drilling, electrolytic grading to deburring.
Weld
We weld construction steel and pipes according to NORSOK M-101 and M-601. We perform Weldmax Hotwire Tig, narrow gap weld and top weld Cladding, with the following types of materials:

- Duplex
- Superduplex
- Aluminium
Engineering
Our engineering department has high expertise and extensive experience in the development of mechatronic system deliveries, automation of production lines, as well as the development of concepts within the oil and gas sector. Our engineers also have expertise in FEM analysis and do strength calculation and reporting. We perform product development from concept to fully finished documented facilities including installation, training, user manuals and CE documentation.

Assembly
In our premises, we have a spacious installation hall of 780 sqm, crane capacity of 20 tons and 8 meters lifting height. The hall is therefore well suited for assembly of larger and smaller projects. When assembling larger and complex construction, there is always close cooperation between the fitters and the engineers in the engineering department. This collaboration contributes to high quality and an optimal product.

Quality assurance
Uvdal Maskinfabrikk is certified according to
ISO NS-EN 9001:2015.
Our measurement and control department is well equipped with test equipment, measuring equipment and Zeiss CNC-controlled measuring machine. The department is temperature controlled at a steady temperature of 20 °C.
Our inspectors are skilled workers with extensive experience in controlling. We also carry out PT and MT.
